We spent today learning, among other things, the nuances of surviving Kenyan customs (things like "don't stop walking" and "don't say the word 'working'" and "don't pay bribes... if you don't have to"). I'm also taking a huge box of aircraft tools/equipment, so that, apparently, should add some adventure to my admittance into Kenya.
We fly out tomorrow evening via British Airways and I've managed a window seat there and back, so I can keep myself entertained for the 18 hours by staring at clouds. Once in Nairobi we have an orientation for a day or so, then who knows! As long as it involves people and some airplanes, all should be good.
Talk to you on the other side!
Lance
Hey, I found you. I can't wait to read the next installments. Hope that 18 hour flight wasn't too rough on ya. Peace out bro, Sarah
